Ok guys I am in desperate need of some advise, or actually information from y'all. My wife got the dreaded phone call after her latest yearly check up about a week ago, that she has the virus that causes cervical cancer(HPV). They aren't sure which strand it is yet and we won't know for sure until the next round of test results come back. My question is have any of you had any first hand experience with this? We have searched all over the internet but some first hand knowledge would be very helpful, along with your prayers. We are both still young (early 30's) and have two young children and now she is starting to panic a little and think about what "could" happen. Any advice and prayers would be.greatly appreciated. I know it's still early in the entire process, but anything I could say to help ease her mind would be very helpful. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

"Approximately 20 million Americans are currently infected with HPV. Another 6 million people become newly infected each year. HPV is so common that at least 50% of sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives."
I wouldn't worry too much about it. She should just get regular screenings for cervical cancer. You most likely have it too or will get it.
