Team Mudbug has fallen on hard times. TexAg96 had to cancel his plans to attend 'Nanza, and he was our source for crawfish. KDF82(Frank) has offered to pick up some from Louisiana on his trip back, but will need a connection in S. Houston or Galveston county late in the week to reimburse him and bring the critters to 'Nanza. He's found the 'bugs significantly cheaper than we have elsewhere in the state. Keep and I are still working on local sources, but if anyone is intrepid enough to connect with Frank in S. Houston later in the week, and front about $220 to be reimbursed at 'Nanza, that would ensure the survival of team Mudbug. Heck, we'd even crown you KING CRAWFISH! Everyone has said 100. If you can get them and bring them I can try to find a way to get you the money before you go buy them so you not out the money till you get to bownanza. Same goes for anyone that can get them at a good price and can get them to bownanza.

I can meet someone anywhere in galveston county or south houston on thurs evening or fri morning to transfer the bugs. Anytime after fri at about noon is out, we will be setting up for my parents anniversery party for that night.

I live in Sugar Land and can get them from Cajun Gourmet. They deliver to restaurants in the area. The trucks arrive from LA daily and I can meet them at Sam's boat between 7-8am. They come in sacks that are about 36lbs each, so if you want 100# I guess that's three sack. Right now they are getting large mudbugs that run $1.75 per lb. They also have some jumbo coming but I didn't get the price.

They told me how to care for them and if I could borrow a large cooler or two that would probably help. Let me know and I will git er done.

I just called and they said they won't know the actual price as they are going down. She said they would be less than $1.59/lb.

Shooter called me and we pulled the trigger to let him take care of obtaining the 'bugs. If anyone can help him with a cooler or two for Shooter, that would be a great help.
