Not being rude with this comment it just seems like some ignorant comments on ash. Very good first half ( opposite for Doege) and defense made some adjustments. Kid was 11-19 with 265 yds and 3 td. I don't care what kind of passes they were, is it not important to have a good qb in the screen game??
As for the Doege comment, it's do irrelevant because they throw 50 times a game. We run to set up
Pass, so no, obviously they will not look the same.

People may not like ash but he is better than McCoy. He is not colt. Ash has played a lot better than last year. If he continues to improve he will be fine.Comment

Ash played pretty good and how about that D. Tough win on the road in a hostile environment. Aside from the blowout in Dallas they are just about where everybody thought they would be. Mack will be around in 2013 and his team will be pretty good.Comment

Ash is head and shoulders above noodle arm McCoy IMO... Can't believe any well respected fan of college football would think any different. Ash had a bad game last week... It happens. And Jonathon Gray is a stud. I didn't think anybody would make me forget about Malcolm Brown this year but he has.
Can't believe they pulled this one out after some of their previous defenses performances but Ol Smart is Happy, Happy, Happy!!
. Mack still has a lot of work to do but this was a nice win considering the position of both teams coming in.

This was a really big win for Texas because this team could have folded up up on their way to Lubbock, but they did not. I have not had a chance to watch the game because I was working an event yesterday, but I followed along on my phone. I am glad I have the LHN so I can rewatch the replay today. I am glad to see this team still has some fight in it and players stepping up making plays they are capable of making.
Iowa State is a huge game for Texas. If they can play well at home and get the win their their confidence should riding high into TCU on Thanksgiving night.Comment
