This morning I saw 2 small bucks running together and one big 8. The 8 got to within 55 yards and went in the woods. He never knew I was there. I have been practicing up to 60 yds, and hitting pretty good but not as good as i want to so decided my limit is 40 yds. I just didn't want to take the chance and gut shoot him. Just didn't think it would be right. But I still kick myself for not shooting even know I did the right thing. I have been practicing out to 60 yards for that particular shoot, because I know it is not like at home at the feeder. I moved stand a little farther down to where and the others came from. Might get the shot this week.

Haven't seen anything all day. Thought I had a found a honey hole. But haven't seen anything in 2 settings. Hunting private land this afternoon, but I have about 10 more mins so it ain't looking. Haven't seen anything but squirrels and a coon. Try again tomorrow.
