Starting to rubs and scraps. I located my stand in an area with about twenty scrapes and runs within forty yards. Just hung stands today. We will give it a whirl in the morning.

Saw 5 doe, 1 spike & 1 unknown this morning. Going to put up some stands on some private land of a friend. They cut beans off his place Friday. Maybe some leftovers for them. He said a lot of deer in the area has been hit by cars. Said there is a lot of deer in the area.

Nothing this afternoon but didn't hunt long because we were putting up more stands and I got late on us.

Been working putting up stands. There are 3 us and we each have 2 stands. Hopefully get some hunting in tomorrow. I have only had about 8 hours sleep since Thursday night. Been tonight 3 days..

Those scrapes are pretty big! Maybe you can bring home the "bacon"! Your son (cowboytuff99) is having withdrawals because he is missing two weekends! Have a good week and see ya when you get home with a a BIG deer!!!!

Nothing this morning on the public land. Wind is blowing about 25 mph and 47 degrees.

Put up some more stand overlooking a bean field. Right at dark had 2 doe on my left, 2 on my right and 1 in front of me. Walking out I jump another one and had 1 blowing that I never saw. Looks like good stand. We now have all our stands up and can relax and start hunting.
