Talked to Mr. Prosser on the way home. It was good to talk with him!

I have been thinking about Jason a lot, especially since the Holidays have begun. I miss him and his wit and kind heart dearly. I just wanted the Prosser Family to know again what a great and helpful person he was. He helped me on numerous occasions and expected nothing in return. The most memorable one that comes to mind was when i was returning home from the Skeeter Ranch party and lost the axle under my pit in Sugarland. Jason hooked up to the gooseneck and him and Digger were there within 2 hours. They helped me load my pit on the trailer, boom it down, and hauled it all the way back to Skeeter and he wouldn't even let me fill his truck up. I will never forget his acts of kindness and i'm a better person for having known him. Save me a spot by the fire Big Snoop.

I saw that knife going from Chicken's place out to Scribner's Thanksgiving weekend, Not sure why but it had Leroy written all over it. On our trip to Carroll's gun shop we got little knives made out of a .44 mag shell, I think I prolly got his biggest and smallest pocket knives, I can almost hear Jason giggling over the big one

My Dad does grief counseling and he told me that most studies show that for every 4 years that you know a person, it takes 1 year to grieve. If you knew someone for 20 years, then it would take you approximately 5 years to get over their passing. If you were extremely close that number is higher, each relationship is different.
You never really get over it, but that dull aching and pain eventually subsides. The memories will always be there and focus on the good ones, the ones that make you think of Jason and smile.
Gunner lost Jason & Digger, I am sure he loved them both. That is alot for a young man to handle, it hurts me just thinking about it. You just remind him that Jason is up in heaven watching over him and that he will ALWAYS be with him. Anytime my boys ask about John I tell them he is in heaven watching over you two.
