2005 Duramax Problem

I've got a 2005 3/4 ton duramax that when it is started in morning it starts and runs fine, as soon as its put in gear it dies and has to have starting fluid and pump up the primmer to get it to start again.

Has anyone had this problem or any ideas as to what it may be.

Sounds like a cracked fuel filter housing, or water separator. Happened to my old one and my dad's. It won't leak fuel but it will let air in and lose its prime.

There a a rebuild kit for the fuel fiter housing as well. Sometime the orings go bad. That would be the second thing I would look at.
