Well it is a marketing plan to make it sound more appealing for the non-hunters who look at the advertisements. Sounds better then hey hunters it's time to murder deer again, as PETA would like it too say. If you notice with Wall-Mart getting in too AR platforms they are now called MSR or Modern Sporting Rifles not assault rifles. It is all marketing tool and play on words. The press does it every day with news. You are reading too much into it. Also Bass Pro does suck way over priced for everything.

      I don't fish. I catch.
I guess I need to hang out with Ike. Everyone tells me "that's why they call it hunting/fishing and not killing/catching!" Please show me the error of my ways!! I want to kill/catch more than I have been.

In a way high fence deer are like growing crops. You plant , grow them and then harvest them when they are ripe. Maybe they are referencing high fence deer. (sound of me running away)

Bass Pro has a vast clientele, and not all if them are hunters. For example a lot of people love archery or hiking but have no desire to hunt. They have to be shuttle or they could devastate their targeted clientele..

I'm just saying I hope everyone has a great opening "Harvest Weekend"
It's a respect thing...... kinda like covering up your deer head in the back of your truck driving on I35 instead of strapping the buck on the hood for all to see.

Lets face it, I've "KILLED" a lot of animals but writing fall KILLING on an add is kinda tasteless if you ask me.

It is a marketing tool, which is a very important part of running a successfull business. Bass Pro is a LOT more worried about running a successfull business than they are anything else (as they should be). People who KILL animals are not the ONLY people they want to entice into their stores and onto their website.

If you looked at the ad you would see there was alot less hunting stuff than turkey fryers, so I thinking they were pushing other fall items mostly.
