    Any one use Accupoint Scope?

I'm looking to purchase the Trijicon Accupoint TR24 1-4x24 anyone have any feed back. I'm looking to use it for my AR for CQB and mid range. Everything I've read seems to be good. I know there were some complaints about the TR21 with the tritium not being very bright in complete darkness.

I've been leaning towards the BAC reticle with the triangle. I know during the day light they are very bright just curious about complete darkness. If anyone has any input let me know or could post a pic of the reticle during darkness with the tritium only without the fiber optic.

My buddy has one and it is pretty nice. I could see better at night through it than with my eye alone. If it is too bright during the day, you can put a piece of tape over the fiber optic thing on top.

I bought a 1 x 4 for a dedicated AR hog gun and liked it so much I bought a 3x9 for my deer rifle. For hunting they are quickly becoming my favorite but for precision target shooting they are not the best.

Thanks for the feedback. Think you could post a pic of the reticle at night

I have two of them. One on a CQB rifle in 300 whisper and one on my lightweight hunting 308. Great scopes.

The TR24 has tritium in it..so it illuminates even in total darkness.

I have the 2.5 x 10 -56mm that I had on my hunting rifle. After a few trips to the range it came off the rifle and went on my DPMS LR308. I didn't care much for the accupoint as a precision hunting reticle..... But for hog hunting it's awesome. Quick to pick up target, awesome field of view, and easy trcking for follow up shots on moving animals, and very good at picking up light in low light conditions

At night the illumination is very subtle. Just enough to clearly place the shot without fuzzing out or ruining your night vision. Just perfect for lining up black crosshairs on a black hog at night. I use the standard crosshair with the tiny 1 MOA dot in the center.

I was going to order one on line from OpticsPlanet, but wanted to look at one first... never found any in stock anywhere around the Houston area. I went into Pruitt's Guns on Huffmeister just off 290 and talked to Jim Pruitt, and he sold me the scope cheaper than I could buy it on line and I had it in 3 days. I did go with the green dot after finally being able to look at the amber and red ones. To me the green shows up best in all conditions. It's not quite as good as amber in total darkness, but it works much better in normal lighting conditions. The red was brightest in normal or bright lighting conditions, but was the worst in low to no light. Green was a happy medium.
