Been wondering myself. Seen those boys on you tube getting after it.
The timber in the ponds on my lease look very similar to that and we are loaded with wood ducks only.

Found the answer, yes you can.
It falls under lawful equipment. Look at TPWD Duck hunting regulations

I believe there was a thread similar to this late last year. I'll run a search and see what I turn up.

Yup. But certain public land hunting wont allow it.

yep, and the year before, and the one before that too and probably 4 year ago too...

It's perfectly legal to hunt ducks/geese with legal archery equipment when the season is open.

Used to be a regular thing for me, but just don't have time to put into shooting/practice any more... Was fun tho... got my limit twice in my life with my bow. First duck was a woodie. had him mounted. Got a band on his foot too! Only other duck I have mounted is a spoonie drake... people ask why in the world would anyone shoot a spoonie, much less mount one, and I tell 'em, " well, you didn't see that shot!!"... coolest shot to date I ever made on any animal... flying...

Make sure you have your state and federal duck stamp and that you are HIP certified!
