Anyone else get dumb when they go to a Gunshow?

I had been reading reviews on a HK P2000 went to gun show looking for one found NEARLY what I wanted found a HK P2000SK with night sites it is the smaller version which I am buying it for concealed carry but I had shot the
p2000 bigger version liked it but found a good deal on smaller p2000sk well I bought it got it home shot 20rds through it it is too small for me no I have to decide if I want to sell it or not. If I do probably going to lose my butt

We had a long(and multiple) thread(s) about a guns show purchase gone bad involving a rifle not to long ago.

Post it in the classifieds, you never know what someone else is looking for.

Its not just gun shows where I go crazy. Guns are an investment the way I see it. Since I have been old enough to buy guns and started collecting them I have viewed them as such. If taken care of most stay pretty well within the price that was given for them.

Here is my .02 on this deal,,,It has nothing to do with a gun deal gone bad as it did in Trophy8's situation. This is a simple case of buyer's remorse. You settled on something that you were not sure you wanted because it was a good deal. As long as it is an HK, you are not going to lose anything, maybe $50-60 unless you try to dump it fast in order to get something else.

An HK is a good investment no matter what, a gun that is not chambered in something that everyone is looking for, not such a good investment.

Here is something that everyone that goes to a gun show needs to do,,,first, make a budget for what you can spend, second, make a list of what you want to accomplish within that budget. The key thing is the list, do not purchase anything at a show that is not on your list simply because it is more that likely something that you do not need.

I have seen crazy things at gun shows. I have buddies that regularly drop $4,000-6,000 adding to their collections but they all have a list and follow it to a "T".

I have also seen guys with no funds (cash) attend a gun show and get in a deal bind when the credit card statement arrives.
