I have hunted both areas for the past 20 yrs (Coast and Panhandle)...My Favorite is the Panhandle because of the Canadians (Lesser) and they seem to be a Little less shot shy.PM me for the 2 outfitters that I have used up there and plus if u time it right u can Pheasant Hunt., and I might be open for a trip...Its a BLAST

In the conservation season there is no limit. we all use Extensions and shoot 10-12 rounds per group. This is only during the spring conservation season. Its the same in Texas.

If you are targeting geese, WS Sherrill Waterfowl or Bay Prairie Outfitters. If you are targeting both ducks & geese, WS Sherrill Waterfowl. I would recommend the El Campo area & shy away from the Eagle Lake/Katy areas, IMO.
