Fuming mad and about to be looking for a new leas

I've had just about enough of my current deer lease. While hunting tonight I had two guys in there trucks who are here for opening weekend of rifle season drive right through my "pasture". Neither has a stand by me. There are two new members on the lease who put a rifle stand by my "pasture" one right as you come up to it. One on the very end of it. The "pasture" is maybe 20 acres big. Talked to the lease manager about it, and because I don't have a dedicated rifle stand he's letting them hunt both sides, the lease rules say no stands within 500 yards of each other so they fit that parameter. And to top it off I am only allowed to take one buck and one doe, previously the rules stated that if you bow hunted you could take two does and a buck. Am I overreacting to all if this or should I just move on?

Why are you mad?
Are you mad because they drove in/near/through your area while you were hunting?
1. Did they know you were there?
2. Did they drive up to their stand to do stuff or were they out joy riding?
A simple conversation with them like .... "I bow hunt all of archery season and would appreciate it if yall wouldn't drive in this area during hunting hours" can go a long way.
They just may not have known any better.

Are you mad because they were allowed to put a stand close to yours?
1. Would you care about this if they had never driven there during your hunting time?

Are you mad because your bag limit changed?
1. Has it ever changed before, or is this the first time it has changed?
2. Why was the limit changed? Because there are more hunters or because the deer population is down?


I think you need to determine why you are mad, then decide if you can change what is making you mad. If you can change it, DO IT. If you cannot change it, move on.
