I've heard you can't have a loaded rifle on public land during hunting season. I was told that by a game warden. In the regs it says that a loaded magazine is considered a loaded weapon.

My remington has a detachable magazine. Is a person that doesn't have a CHL supposed unload their magazine each time they leave the woods?

Having a CHL, wouldn't a loaded rifle be considered a concealed weapon and would cover this in my truck?

Correct the magazine must be unloaded and no a long gun is not considered a concealed weapon.
