Reviews on iPhone 5?

Mine's been on back order since October 12- so this wait better be worth it! I'm upgrading from the 3GS, but have been also seriously looking at a Galaxy S3 or the new Galaxy Note 2 (sweet phone/tablet combo!).

Love the 5 so far. Only complaint is the map app satellite image sucks compared to the old one. Once they fix that ill be 100% happy. My wife has a 4s and constantly uses mine for watching movies while hunting because of the download speed.

I hear you there. Mine's been on backorder since the 5th!! I'm getting pretty anxious and a little ticked off too. It better be worth it!

I really like mine. It wasn't an earth shattering upgrade, but it does everything I want and does it well. Ever since getting an iPad I don't use my phone quite the way I did before. I have noted that signal reception seems noticeably better on the 5. Siri is nice for those long trips to the lease driving, didn't have it on my 4 before. The build quality is typical of Apple, being excellent. The video and photos are top notch.

That sucks, I walked right into the store at lunch time and bought one LOL no preorder.


I might have a s3 for sale, wife has one and hates it. Not sure when she will be able to get the iphone though if they are on backorder still.

I would say if you are upgrading from the 3G or 3GS then just get the 4s ad save the money. If upgrading from the 4 then get the 5!

I have had my 5 for a week now, it's great no issues. I was talking with some friends that have the G3, looked at their phones and they looked at the 5. 2 out of 3 now have 5's on order.

Just got the 4s... Lol the AT&T lady said they still had bugs to work out with the 5. She also said the 5 wasn't worth the upgrade if you have a 4s. I'm no expert! Just pass along what she told me.

I also do business with ATT and I can tell you from every respect the 5 is superior. The a6 chip, camera and most impt access to LTE is a considerable improvement from the 4.

No bugs on the 5 thats also just nonsense

If you want a fast phone get the 5. I have the 5 and love it...

Here is a speed comparison:
4g is 10x faster than 3g
LTE is 10x faster than 4g

exactly speed comparison's aren't even close

Got the IP5 last Friday (waited 3 weeks to get it BTW) and after a few days with it- ehhh, I can honestly say the 'wow' factor sucks!

I guess my expectations were prematurely high, but they quickly changed with my phone in hand. It feels just like my 3-year old IP3GS, but with a slightly bigger screen and a 'faster' processing time. (I'm quite aware of the obvious 'technical' differences between the 2, just basing my opinion on how it feels). I'll probably stick with it, as I have too much stuff on the Apple 'cloud'; however, I'm pretty sure this will be the last IP I will every buy. With the the current capabilities/tweakability of other smart phones on the market today- I feel gipped.

i have had mine about a month and i love it. not one complaint. if ye due you are due for upgrade get the 5, getting the 4s would be doing yourself a major disservice.

I upgraded to the 5 from the 4 and it blows the 4 away. Faster, lighter, battery life is easily as good even with being on LTE all day. I have not noticed any bugs whatsoever.
