    Another fail

Well, another hunt and another fail. Seems like everytime I go out nothing happens. Seeing deer hasn't been an issue so far. I was neck deep in about 15 does on Sunday but wasn't ever presented a shot. Today had a little spike and a doe come in at around 7:15.. Too dark to really see well enough to make an ethical shot. I know it's all part of the game, but it sure is gettin old. Hope y'all are havin better luck than I am. Haha

Don't consider it a fail. I've only seen 5 deer in my last 4 hunts altogether. Just consider it another great hunt without a kill

Any time I see critters is a good hunt. Hang in there. It will come together for you.

That's why it's called hunting and not killing. It beats work any day of the week!!

No luck on my end. First three hunts I didn't see a thing. Last weekend I saw eight deer but none presented a shot opportunity. I call it a successful hunt when I see deer up close, I just didn't kill anything.
If years of bowhunting and old age have tought me anything, it's patience. My opportunity will come and when it does I will be ready.

Every day in the deer stand beats any day at work.

Are you hunting or feeder watching? Sometimes when it gets tough you get in what you put out. Just saying...

If you're seeing deer then it's not a failed hunt.

I've gone about 1/3 of my hunts not without seeing a deer. One hunt was no deer rabbits or even a squirl. That's early season after a wet summer. We're still getting timely rains that keep new growth up in the fields.

Patience Grass Hopper-December will be the month to hunt this year.

That's not a fail. I have only seen 2 deer in one of the places I hunt in 8 hunts. and in three hunts in another place only 1 deer. Count your blessing!

Not a fail! Have you ever seen any of Tred Barta's shows? It's about the hunt. The fact that you can consistently put yourself within bowrange of deer, even if you aren't shooting, is a great accomplishment!
