How to Get 'Em When They Become Nocturnal

They are making it tough to shoot them as they are tired of being hunted and are feeding only at night...so first I look for droppings and frequently used pinch points and trails. Then I set a trap that will trick even the big boys. BAM!!!

I've got 6 beagles that would give him heck. Catch me about 6 for my starting pen.

I think I would have left that trap right there...with him in it.

Yea he was an angry bird fo sho! I'm trying re-locate some varmints on my place and got lazy and left the trap set during the day. When I found him he was hissing at me and trying to put his head between his legs and look behind him to try to figure out how to get out! Was too big to turn around inside the cage so he was pretty upset! I just stuck a long stick in there to get him away from the door and lifted it up pulling the stick as I ran away! He came out in a flurry of feathers and dust and flew off still hissing at me. I made the mistake of sending that pic to my wife who now refers to me as Buzzard Hunter! HaHaHa!!!
