If you could plant only one seed for a food plot...

    ...what would it be?

I know I am just full of questions these days. Deer season is WAY to far away right now.

Whatever grows best in the region. I have had some success in "greener/wetter" climate of South East Texas, with rape, which is like a green (turnip etc.) mixed with other forages. I have also used a knock of Biologic, that I got from a local feed store.

Do you guys get soil tests for your food plots?

If water was not an issue then my choice would be Alfalfa.
