Just woke up to a series of gun shots that lasted 30 mintues!!!

Just woke up to auto weapons and semi auto being fired continuously for 30 minutes probably a mile from my house. Its 2am!!! 6 cop cars drove down my street.

I put on my clothes and walk down the street knowing the gunfire is quite a ways from me and my neighborhood. They all come out of the woods as I am walking to their cars. Gun fire is still going off at this time.They told me they passed it to the neighboring city and that they knew it wasn't in their city.

Kind of weird how they would just pass the buck and not care to help another city find the jackwagons firing 100's of rounds, rapidly, at 2am, in the city limits.

This happened while I was at my lease southwest of Jasper the last few times. The 2nd weekend of Bow season I'm sitting in one of my blinds and here goes the bang sticks! They weren't full auto but near enough. Needless to say my hunt was ruined... it only took me 9 hours in the blind to figure it out. There's a couple of houses on CR-317 that can't seem to control their stupid friggin' guests. Wild Al Queda type shooting and hood rat women on 4 wheelers speeding up and down the road drinking cocktails with babies hanging on. Next time I'm calling Johnny Law.

Last weekend while taking my wife on her first bow hunt on the other side of the lease some jake legged SOBs must've been bump-firing at squirrels with Saiga 12 gauges. We quit counting shots at 7:15 but stuck it out to 11:00. Found one of the lease managers looking for them on the way out. This is happening behind locked gates too. There's about 90 acres inside our 12,500 acres that isn't part of our lease but through deaths and land passing nobody can be contacted.

Neighbor across the street had a party yesterday with the same thing going on in his back pasture. It was rough watching a slaughter on the TV and all the gunfire messing up my nap.

I live in North downtown Kansas City and gunshots are normal...watched the after math of a murder go down from the school library....choppers, white vans, CSI etc...you'll get used to it...

It must be the new thing to do. I've had it twice from neighbors at my lease. They've done it at the worst time of the day, around 5-6 pm.

I know it's likely just some people having a good time in the back pasture but when you don't see any deer for that set it makes you wonder....

Big problem is that this is not at the lease! I live in the city! There is a creek nearby that people like to party at and it has a deep rivine that I'm sure the perps thought muffled the sound. I bet there was 500 plus shots last night!
