Finally relaxing into my evening job and thought I'd post the short of it. I myself prefer just to look at pictures cause I think they convey a lot but here is how it went down.

Had a few guests at my farm. I was trying to put them on some pigs. The most promising feeder was clogged with mold.. I was going to sit the while the others were in more promising pig grounds.

So, with the primary spot a no go, I slide over to a set Dreamer1 and I set up. 20ft ladder that's great in a north wind. The sun is setting and 20 yards away I hear a snort wheez. I had never hear that before but it was just like on TV. It was off in the brush and I thought no was was that a snort wheez.

About a minute goes by and I hear a deer tearing up a tree or bush. It was crazy loud. I mean he was tearing it up. I can't see anything but no way is it further than 20 yards. That last a few minutes then the next thing I hear are horns clacking. They were going at it. Not hard but loud.

Then, silence.. Nothing. Dead quiet for five minutes.. I'm just listening then I hear two steps. At 10 yards. Out of the bushes he walks straight in front of me. 15 yards maybe. He faces away from me standing there.

I lift the bow and draw. He turns broadside and takes a few steps. Whack.. Arrow hits him high or he ducked. Hit the spine. He starts dragging his back half so I sent another straight threw heavy vine.. Still moving some so I send another. He is NOT going to get away..

Anyway, I tried to figure out a way to trick everyone to think I hadn't shot anything. One of the guys shot a pig. I met them t the trailer and they recapped their hunt. I told them, let's go look for the pig.. Then I couldn't stand it anymore. I said then maybe we have to go look for something else.

They picked up on it right away.. Off we went to get my buck.. It was pretty joyous. We looked for the pig but never found it.. I didn't have a scale but he weighted over 200 I think.. He was huge..
