Iowa public lands

Anybody ever do it? Traded some arrows with a feller on at and he was telling me about it. See it was pretty good.

Iowa has a lot of good public lands. The kicker is spendingn the money to get drawn for a tag, driving all the way ther and hunting land you are not familiar with, and coming up empty. IMO if you are gonna go that far, find a reasonably priced outfitter to hunt with to improve your chances.
