Canvas Painting...need an opinion???

I agree double lung. It would have been nice to see a third deer in the painting. This was actually the 1st time my dad, bro and me all killed nice bucks the same year.

Showed it to a relative who is an appraiser of fine art and she said the same....high price of 'maybe' 250.00 (her opinion)

How big of a picture would you like? I know someone who could a hole lot better and is WAY underpriced for a oil painting.

Kinda figured as much! The nicely framed pics can be handed down thru the family as the generations move on. I just think the paintings of the deer alone have very little significance in the big scheme of things!

lol...Thanks man...I always give him hell about that. If you notice, my dads also grew a g2. I guess my big boy was pushing them around the pasture

Wow! Nice bucks for sure! I would take the LDP's and put a frame on um! Maybe have them blown up a bit and put a frame on them.
Save that $1200 for next deer season, you can't beat those LDP's!!

I think he did a heck of a job on the details of the grass and the prickly pear hidden amongst it. It's art.

Art is a lot of things, but it isn't a photograph.
Photography is an art form of it's own.

Bottomline, if it doesn't strike a chord in you then do not buy it.
