1 year old Blue Lacy Mix ?????

I have been wanting to get another dog. I had a Lab mix for 14 years and hd to put her to sleep about 5 years ago. I met a lady trying to get rid of of a Blue Lacy mix. She said the dog was about a year old. I'm going to see the dog tomorrow. She sent me a couple of pictures. They were not very big. I was wondering what ya'll thought the dog was a mixture of. Lacy and ????
    Thanks for any help

I did notice his ears seem a little shorter, and his head seems much wider than a Lacy!!!

She may be mixed a little, but that dog shows mostly Lacey. She be a good one if shes been taught any manners.

Looks like a Lacy mix to me. My buddy's Lacy has short ears like that and my Lacys dads head is wide and my Lacys head is getting wide. Looks like a Lacy Lab mix

These are full Lacys they come in different shapes and sizes but the one in your pics is a mix no doubt

They have a small yard with a short cyclone fence, and she said that he is always climbing the fence and get outs. I have about 3/4 with a tall privacy fence, and I hoping that he minds well enough to take him and let him run at the lease.

Go get her. I will give my guess after you decide to keep her.

I plan to go look at him in the morning and if he shows any kind of good connection towards me, I'm planning on bring him home, but I don't understand why you say you will tell me if I decide to keep him???

He said that because some can be a handful. He's getting out because he is bored. They really need a job to keep thier active mind occupied.

On the other hand some don't need it and can be just as laid back as any other dog. It depends on the breeding. I've never seen a Lacy cross that wasn't a great dog. I think you should go for it.

I have done my research on the Lacy breed, and know that they need to work & get alot of exercise. I'm hoping I can offer him that. Hopefully he should be about half way out of his puppy stage!!

                        ^^^
I am very familiar with one that was a mix and sold here on the GS. She turned out to be a wonderful dog

If you feel the connection, go with it.
