    Hartcraft broadhead damage

These pics are from a doe that I shot this week using the Hartcraft Trophy 2 broadhead (100 gr.) I decided to try these broadheads this year after seeing them at TTHE. The doe was slightly quartering away at 22 yards. It was a complete pass through hitting both lungs. She ran for about 75 yards making a loop and ended up just yards from my pop up blind. This was the second deer that I have killed with the Trophy 2's. the first was a axis doe with the exact same result. Thought I would share the results with the Green Screen. Ragin and I were over at his shop last season. Nice guy for sure, but seem to be more of a knock off of the Striker Broadheads I have been shooting since 2008'.

I've come to the conclusion that all of these top end heads do an incredible amount of damage......................if you hit them in the right place.

I used the Strikers a few years ago and they are very similar. The ferrules on the Strikers didn't hold up nearly as good for me as the Hartcrafts. Most shots of mine will end up hitting a rock somewhere and these have held up better than anything I have tried yet.

We hunt in Stonewall (15 minutes from his shop) with lots of rocks like you. I have taken Strikers to Africa twice and Canada twice and probably to stubborn to change based on my current success. I may revisit the ferrules as that is very important.

The whitetail was a good nice hit, but the axis you shot Tuesday morning was the best, I might have to try the trophy II they seem to work well for you my friend

Did you lose any blades on the two you shot?

Yes, but that was from hitting rocks afterwards. The blades came off but the ferrules held up well.

I have had other broadheads hit rocks and their blades do not fall out. How good is a ferrule with no blades
