    Rage Question...

I was looking at my arrows in my quiver and noticed my rage broad heads had a bunch of sand and dirt grains on and in them. I was thinking that might effect them opening. Do y'all clean them, or run them under a water faucet? Or better to pick up some new ones?

I would pull the blades out ( I dont mean remove them ) and move em in and out while blowing into the grooves where the go. If they move in and out freely it should be fine.

You think running some water through it will hurt?

should be fine..I took a doe with one and it was full of hair, blood, dirt, and probably a little flesh lol but all I did was rinse it off and change the O-ring and took a pig the next morning and it worked flawless like they always do for me

Water doesnt hurt em. After I kill something with em I wash them like him ^ and change the blades and oring and shoot em again as long as they arent damaged.

I wash mine and use an old tooth brush to scrub the grime, dirt, blood, hair, and fat away.

If you have to worry about them opening at all, then I would stop shooting them. I lost confidence in their blade retention system, you know, the little rubber O ring

he's doing what he should be doing, looking over his equipment. Making sure its in tip top shape. All hunting equipment needs to be maintained to a certain extent. archery equipment is just like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it. if you neglect it, it will bite you in the butt sooner or later.

Well said! The last thing I want is the thing to not open that would suck.
