I bought my helim 3 weeks ago. When I heard they were coming out with new bows I was thinking maybe I should have waited. I compared them yesterday online and to me there was not to big of a difference. If I was to buy tomorrow I think I would still go with the helim.

Its gonna take a really good one to take my Matthews DXT out of my hand i guess
Just about everyone is saying the same thing about their DXT, their Reezen, their Z7, their Z7X, their M this and M that, and me with my XLR8. I don't know that these new bows are enough to move me either.

If you think about it, it's not so much a knock on their newer bows as it is a statement about their existing bows. It just takes one heck of a bow to make you move. The older bows are just that good. But, I am finally getting to that point where that super smooth bow is really appealing to me.

Thats what has me too. My Wrath is supposedly the most forgiving bow on the market and has faster IBO speeds than the HeliM or the Creed. But my bow @ 70 lbs is not exactly easy to draw in akward angles. (like being 35 ft in a tree and shooting to your weak side) My bow also has an 8" brace height so I will be losing forgiveness and speed for a smoother draw. To me nothing about the mathews bows is apealing over my current bow EXCEPT the draw. If this new bow is smoother than the HeliM (which I have heard it is from a few people) then I should be able to pull 70# to full draw with my weak hand between my legs and behind my back while sitting down. =P

Those are tricky shots though. Remember, no matter how short the blood trail, it doesn't count if you don't call your bank shot!

one thing is for sure that re-vamped and rather large idler on the creed has to have a tremendous effect on draw cycle in a positive manner. it's just plain giant!

Just got back from shooting both the Creed, and the Chill . This is my report...

Creed... 28-70 w apex sight 450 grain FMJ hunting shafts ..chrono'd at 306

The bow was indeed beyond super smooth to draw , no problem slowly drawing to anchor without moving the sight from the target ... 1 1/2 group at 20 , with someone else's sight dialed in. Pritty quiet , balls on accurate and fast ! The bow looks much better in person . Very good looks in fact !

                          Monster Chill
same arrows chrono'd 310 .The bow itself is good looking and smaller than the original monstor. The cams are huge ...i mean HUGE ! it was not nearly as smooth as the creed , and a little more awkward to keep at full draw than the heli and the creed. The chill shoots very nice all and all but for hunting i am def. gonna go with the creed over both the heli and chill. I really did notice a difference in drawing the Creed over my current DXT ! I think the Chill is an excellent little grind blind bow , which will be devasting to Longbeard Toms this coming spring. All and all i give them both a big thumbs up and 2 thumbs up on the Creed ! The split limbs are a bonus feature in my opionion just because of the look it portrays. Nice job Matthews

Thanks Rack Master. That is what I was wanting to hear. Honest opinion. Will still go and shoot both, but leaning towards the Creed right now.
