I also grinded down the sides of the magnet so that it would fit inbetween the grooves on my QAD rest. It turns on when you shoot and when you put the knock next to the magnet afterwards it turns it off. Seems to be bright and easy to turn on and off. I havent had much luck with any of these things in the past. I will test the Eastons this year and see what happens
If you don't repeat the process you used to activate them initially, after each hunt, they will still drain the battery. This was a real pain in the butt for me. Plus, without a simple on-off switch it was easy to forget which arrows I had activated and which ones I hadn't. Constantly had dead ones. Nockturnals are just as reliable but nice and simple. JMO

Nocturnals are by far the best. They come in all sorts of colors. White, pink, blue, red, and green.

I like the Nockturnals too. Got a green one that I couldn't get to turn off though so I removed it from my arrow and put it on my dresser. Been glowing steady now for 10 days. Been a good night light in the cabin!

Thanks guys for the info on the nocks. I chose the red nockturnals. Can't wait to fling an arrow at some hogs tomorrow. I'm going with a friend to his lease in Colorado city tomorrow.
