I have both of my kids hunting with me often and have even introduced my city slicker wife into hunting and she has even killed a couple deer.











now, I have just as much fun living through Treys Bowhunts.

He shot his first deer with gun at age 8- that was only gun kill deer
He took up bowhunting and at 9 shot this doe and had clean pass through and last year at 10 shot his first buck with bow.





and then there is this video....my favorite. Watching Michael and his daughters excitment had me tearing up and going back and watching this video.

Great thread. Aaron and I are going out for curly q again this afternoon. This will be hunt #3 for him and we have had him in bow range on the previous two attempt. Keep an eye out for (hopefully) a lucky live hunt and a 10yo boys first buck harvest this evening.

The Kids love it when we go to the Ranch, my 2 year old ask me every day daddy can we go to the Ranch... A few pics.

2. I taught them how to net the fish when we feed them "BAD IDEA" but fun

I am not going to lie before kids I said I would never leave the concrete jungle, find myself rethinking that. My 2 boys just love the outdoors!!!

Awesome thread, Jim!

I don't have any younguns but love hearing and seeing their experiences in the great outdoors. Whether it's hanging around the campfire, whittling, sitting in a pile of corn, freezing in a blind or lucky enough to be posing with a LDP!

Thanks for all of y'all introducing your kids and sharing the great outdoors with them. And thanks for sharing with us.
