A couple of knives I made handles for. The top one is Ironwood and the bottom is Ebony. They are showing wear, I guess it's time to make them pretty again.

I got this for my 21st birthday from my Grandparents. A close family friend is a retiree and makes custom knives now. This knife is one that he made and carried for himself. One day nearing my birthday I was over at his shop hanging out and he laid out 8 knives on a table, including this one, and asked me which one was my favorite. I picked this one, not knowing the plan between my Grandma and him. A week later at their house, she handed me a gift bag and this was in it. Couldn't believe it! I've cleaned and quartered many animals with this knife. It holds a great edge.
