Shooting Muzzy Fixed and Rage 2 blade?

I'm shooting Muzzy 3-blade 100gm fixed now but I'm interested in trying Rage 2-blade 100gm mechanicals. Anybody notice differences in flight? I don't wanna resight bow mid season to try Rage mechs. Just interested in a bigger hole.

I could never get any bow to shoot mechanicals the same place as fixed. I shoot Slick Tricks, Hell Razors, and Montecs. They all shoot 6" right of my Grim Reapers.

It has been my experience that IF (this is a big if and also very rare occurance for me) I want to make a change during the season, I will need to do whatever it takes to keep the bow tuned and hitting right on every time. If it means changing something to accomodate another thing, than I do it. For example, I have had to put a new site on my bow mid season in the past. Had to adjust for that.
As far as arrows and broadheads, I take care of what I am going to use well before the season starts. If I plan on using different broadheads, I am sure before I ever hunt that they are in the bullseye and in my quiver. None in the quiver are untested. No surprises. I have had friends make changes the night before a hunt and then they shoot at an animal and have bad results. Either no recovery or a complete miss when they were shooting nails earlier the previous day.

I don't care about whats better/worse in peoples opinion. I'm just interested in if there is any noticable shift in flight for the same weight heads. If I try them I won't have time to range test them. I assume a mech will be trashed if shot into a block.

Once again I'm just curious. Lost 2 Muzzy's and plan on getting another 6-pack tonight.

I would say if your Muzzys are shooting in the same place as your field points, the Rage should also. Rage comes with a practice head and in my experience, it hits the same place as the real deal. I have never had a Rage shoot differently than my field points but every arrow in my quiver has been shot multiple times with the practice head just to make sure.

The only way to know how they fly out of your bow, is to shoot one out of your bow. If I was going to change heads before a hunt I would make time to put one down range before I went to the blind

I use a Matthews LX set at 58 lbs. I have 2 Muzzy 3 blade, 2 Slick trick, and 1 rage 2 blade in my quiver. I have only shot the practice head of the rage but they all will group together ( inside 3") out to 30 yds for me.
I am pretty new at this and still looking for my 1st deer. I don't planning on shooting past 25 yds at a critter.

I have hog kills with the slick trick and Muzzy and the ST flies the closest to the field tip in my bow

I just sight my bow in for what BH I intend to shoot. It works for me. I don't know what the deal is. I have paper tuned my bows and tweaked until I could not tweak no more. My arrows just dont fly the same when shooting different broadheads.
