What has "gone wrong or broken" at home when you weren't there?

1) Smoke detector starts chirping in our bedroom at 2AM
2) Then she calls at 7AM... There's a skunk on our back porch

Just bought a house two weeks ago. First night in the house we had a roof leak. This past weekend we had a leak in the condensate line in the HVAC system up in our attic. Not a good start. Fortunately we were home for both.

Alot. I work offshore and if something is going to go wrong, it will be while I'm gone. Central air unit, vehicle break downs, kids or my dog being sick you name it and my poor wife has probably had to deal with it at one point or another. With out her I couldn't do what I do.

Garage fridge went out while hunting one weekend.

Lost about 50lbs of deer meet & fish. I came home to a stinky garage and warm beer

I hear ya man. Seems like nothing goes wrong when I am home, but everything breaks or quits while I am on a hunting trip. Pool motor goes out, freezer quits running, garage door opener goes out, dog is sick...... always something.

Water leak above the kitchen opening day and had to leave.

Away at college....Going home in one week to hunt.....16 year old shoots my 150" 10 I have been searching for and working my butt off at the ranch for.
Was under strict instructions to under no circumstances shoot anything other than a doe or a spike.

His exact words "I know you told me not to, but I couldn't resist." . Turns around and starts bad mouthing my family at school (same grade as my lil sis).
