Great deer. Do you ever shoot one?

This is not the best pic. My friend Blake who got him left from the ranch directly to New Mexico for a Ibex hunt before I could get pics downloaded from him. Unfortunately Blake missed a shot at him 3 weeks ago and he had no broken tines. We calculated he had broke off 5" total off G1,G3,G4. Hopefully he got to breed another doe or two. You can't ask more from a deer to get a good 7 years of breeding out of him and still end up on a high note. Will post the scoresheet in ad ay or two if you care to make a guess on score.

Now thats what I call great managment skills I like the way yall hunt !!

Good question. I do shoot quite a few deer but they are all mostly management type deer and nothing to brag about. With all the costs involved in keeping the place going I sell a few hunts but mostly let good friends, family and customers shoot the top end deer. I do have my eye on a specific deer though I hope to get next year. He will be 8 1/2. He dissapeared early last year but showed up a week ago. Thanks for all the positive comments posted above.
