    you beat me to it.
They have live music there every wed. night put on by Texas Mix 105.3. We saw Cory Morrow with (Jack Carale??) his lead guitarist a few months ago. Kinda pricy on the beer and food, but we were moved to the front row, because of some no-shows. We were about four feet away from Cory, great night.

Also another vote for Mainstreet Crossing as a possibility. I tend to wait until Shake Russell is going to be there. It's a real small sort of personal gathering and you can make requests and such. I'm not a beer drinker, and their food is only slightly better than fast food, but it'll do. If you want the food to be high on the priority, go to the Redfish grill first, then hit Mainstreet Crossing... The Pecos Mesquite Grill is also in Tomball and they have pretty good food too. Neither of these places are what I'd call a "dress up" place, but they can make for a nice evening...

Okay, Main Street Crossing is definitely on the list now, especially if Shake is going to be there (does he still play with Dana Cooper?). Gianna's is a favorite of ours as is Redfish but neither are particularly "intimate" (her words). We are going to try Crescent Moon tonight, sounds like a cool little place.

Naw, haven't seen Shake with Dana in years... That was a gread duo! He's got that mandolin player with him now... for the life of me, I can't remember the guy's name. Ol' Shake's voice has never been the greatest, but the cigarettes are taking their tolls on him now, but he's still a good show, if nothing else just for "old time's sake"...

Redfish is okay at 249 and Cypresswood. Then run and see a movie at Silverado.
Redfish has the best sushi I have found in the area.

Bar Louie on the waterway is a favorite especially if the weather is nice. Great atmosphere, great food.

I have many more if you have a particular type of food in mind.
Another vote for Crescent Moon, the food is okay but the ambiance is wonderful. Enjoy seeing the Latin singer Yelba

I used to watch Shake and Dana at the Mucky Duck in his heyday. What a great time! Kinda hate to go see him now if he's gone downhill but Main Street Crossing is 7 minutes away so I guess I shouldn't pass up the opportunity.

Go see him. He's still OK, just a little gravel in his voice moreso than it use to be.
