Just say "okay babe", but DO NOT go to her place either. It won't take her long to figure out how she really feels about the whole thing.

dad says "dog was there before her, and he'll be there after her"
I agree with dad, she knew about the dog since the beginning. I treated my dog the same way, he was my best friend. I couldn't have tolerated that. I am an animal person and my wife knows it. Some people like animals and some don't. It would be a deal breaker for me if she treated my dog like that. I wouldn't blame the dog, he was sleeping and was attacked! Normal for any dog to growl and snap.

my dog has never acted like this towards anyone except her and im not sure how to handle this diplomatically.

first off she shoulda never laid a hand on my dog. he wasnt doin nothin but sleeping on a chair. ida bit her if she went to whoopin on me while i was asleep too.

i love my dog and i love her, but i dont want her beating on him and him snapping or acting aggressive is UNACCEPTABLE. (hes a pit bull mut, so.its a big no no)

You have the answer to your questions if you read your post........dogs a keeper time for her to move on along.....

he replies to her...I knew he would shut up as soon as I let him in.

I don't care for dogs in the house either.

If you choose to break this off because you can't keep your dog off the couch, please send me a photo of the girl and I'll let you know if I want her number.

Your Dad is smart. Good dogs are hard to find. Crazy women are a dime a dozen.

If its your house and your furniture than she needs to shut her mouth or hit the road. The dog was there first. One change leads to others.

First of all I agree with get that animals belong outside. With that being said she should have never laid a hand on your dog for any reason. You should have made that clear from the beginning. Kick her to the curb.
