    what would u do

well the acorns are everywhere on my place and started falling hard. Fri night i got pics of a 5 point and nothing since then. Should i try and move closer to bedding areas or stick with where i am at or try and set up something to see more area since the rut is coming. I have more bucks on my place than does so rattling and calling should work. What should i do.

I think everyone in the state is dealing with the same problem right now. I'd be careful about moving too close to bedding areas. You'd hate to bump/alert a mature buck to you. I'd just stick with hunting the fringes maybe some light rattling. AND pray these $*&#! acorns dont last much longer! haha

So if you have 8k-10k oak trees on 2,400 acres, all producing acorns, which one do you suggest?..

I go out before the season and taste test an acorn from each tree. I hunt the tree with the sweetest tasting acorns. Try it and let me know how it works for you.
