Choosing A Spot in National Forrest

There is so many potential spots in the National Forrest. You see a spot looks good , then you travel down the road and see another spot looks good. Sure makes it hard on a Rookie Bow Hunter, and Rookie to the Forrest. What is your Advise ? Please .

Pick a spot and hunt it....but dont get to attached to a certain spot, if you dont see any deer there after a couple sits then move on and try another spot ......also dont hunt a spot just b/c it looks like a pretty spot....look for sign and hunt where the deer are...this is my first year to hunt on public land so this will be my strategy

I hunt some in a walk in wilderness area NF. Look for sign and don't be afraid to move around. Also, I hunt on the ground
