After a crazy last week at work and having classes 5 of the last 6 days I am needing some Kansas Tree Therapy. About to hit the shower, load up, pick up Travis and make our way to the 40 acre hunting grounds. Rained all day yesterday so we are hopeful the deer will be moving. Temps are a little warm this morning, upper 50s with a westerly wind that should be shifting to a Northwest wind around 8 this morning. Stick around, updates to come

Good luck....we are sitting here in Baird Texas chasing a couple of big 10's and dreaming of getting back to Unit 15 in Kansas.

Brealking daylight and all is calm. Except for a little wind. Crows ae up and the dkies are clear. Hope today is the day. Freezer is bare and I need to put something it it.

There was a bout of blue tongue (confirmed by the GW) in Northeast Kansas where I hunt. Thats in the Sabetha area. They found several dead deer.Comment
