This is how i read it as well. Heck i personally do not have the extra $ to pay it and if I did have the cash i wouldnt anyway but thats not what I felt I was being asked. Based on what i've seen I DO believe that is a good price on that sized deer. And if the op wants to and can pay it then i say rock on!

I thought it was illegal to sell deer.

If your paying for a hunt, then fine. But when you stretch a tape to measure the deer. Then your selling the deer not the hunt.

Anyway. I don't have 5k to drop on a deer. Therefore I can't realistically say what I'd do if I did. But, for a deer of that size that is more than fair from prices I've seen.

          And that's 3

Anyone jumping on people for expressing an opinion; pertaining to any aspect of said hunt is no better than the person they are accusing of being 'out of line'.

Bowhunting only on about 600 acres. Bring your own stands and feed.

              any suggestions?
Is it a 5,000 up front kill or not? $5,000 when harvested?

That would be my only queston?

That sounds like a fair price, based on some of the pricing I have seen. What all does it include? Is it a weekend hunt, week long hunt? Are there several 180"+ deer on the place?

Well this has turned pretty interesting.. I guess I see both sides.. It's a fair price if your wanting to purchase that deer.. If your wanting to hunt a deer that size no you can get a lease cheaper..

ook more specifically, would u pay to hunt a place where there are deer of that caliber, not selling the deer trying to sell the hunt, would have acsess to the whole ranch with the landowner giving freely given freely taken advice. dont know anyhting about the price range if nothing is killed but there would be opportunities for good deer.

If you have the money to do it then why not? That's the price if not cheaper to get on a lease with those caliber of deer. Post up when you do it!
