                  Stretched out they can't strike very far, so I felt pretty safe moving in close for pictures. Its a federal refuge and you just can't kill them. Someone killed a rattle snake on one in FL and they canceled the hunt for everyone, then closed the refuge to hunting.

                  The biologist on anwr at one time was counting the number of road kills during the hunt, he lobbied to close the hunt because there were so many run over. We got the word out to the hunters and road kills have dropped dramatically, so he's stuck using his old data.

                          Having been attacked in john boats more times than I can recall, along with my buddy breaking my $80 Boron rod on one (he did buy me a new one)...that is a big water moccasin!
