Why does work always get busy during hunting season???? Meant to leave this morning to hunt tonight but no!!! I am out of here in the morning for the weekend!!!!!

I have a rotating day off each week.
Monday one week, then Tuesday the next and so on...
Well, Wednesday (yesterday) and last Tuesday were my days off.
In the stand. 7:30a.m. Phone rings on both days.
Work needs me to come in.... An hour drive back home.... Change clothes... Then to work....
I think I'll leave my phone in the truck next trip

Leaving tomorrow for Saturday and Sunday. Got apig problem Will be in the climber Saturday morning see how it goes. Taking the fire pole also. might be doing KAP the rest of weekend.Comment

Something comes up every year -without fail. The opener was a wash-out because of the rain. Two weekends in October are scratched due to weddings I cannot get out of and still preserve my marriage. I've got the weekend of the 20th scheduled, then after that the deer disappear when all the guns start going off. Oh well. Going to try and take some time off to hunt a few weekdays in November.Comment
