I've had the 5.9 cummins from 97 up.Have always ran them in the 300-500k range hotshotting. Still have my 04' and its at 320k and as pulled a 40' G/N from day one upto about 2 yrs ago, never have had alot a problems with the truck.. I dont think 190k is bad for a Dodge. I also see comments about the truck falling apart, bad interior etc alot. I never had problems other than normal maintenence, wear and tear stuff. Check the frontend and for oil leaks. Also ask about the injectors if replaced or not. Usually 200k or so it will be replace injector time. With regular oil changes, motor should be good for alot more miles

In theory that's not a lot of miles for a 5.9, but I don't know any vehicle with that many miles that wouldn't require you to set aside a few grand for future repairs. Sure the engine will last "forever" but there is a lot more to a truck than just an engine. I think that most people are asking too much for their high mileage trucks... Buy it if it's a great deal.
