    Camo question

Who wears 3D camo/ ghillie (sp?) suit? Does it break up your outline that much better than regular clothes with camo pattern?

I'm a big believer in "Leafy Wear". The deer just look right through you instead of staring at you for a few minutes trying to figure out what you are. I have one in ASAT I wear when I'm in a more exposed tripod or stalking.

          Boos2,

I do not have a guillie suit but I have several "leafyflage" suits and firmly believe they break up your sillouette better than regular camo clothes. If I'm not in an enclosed blind I always wear a leafy suit over what ever else I have on. Just my 2 cents worth.

          Take it easy,

          Bisch

I've been using a 3D top/bottom when rattling/still hunting on the ground for 15 years. It's a British army sniper cover up on a light weight mesh backing. I will just throw it on over (clean) jeans and shirt. I think it makes a big difference.

                Leafy Wear!

I wish they made it in Bruch Country or Predator.

I think it really helps if you screw up.......the stare downs don't last nearly as long.

Anything that adds depth is always better than anything that is one dimensional, no matter how good the pattern.

If anyone does, I would like to know how. Maybe directions could be posted in the DIY section.

Doing a google search turns up some sites that give instructions, looks like it's pretty simple, yet time consuming to do. Just wondering if any of the folks here had made one.

Any problems with obstruction while shooting a bow? Does it get in the way? etc

                            not that I have experienced.

                            Great for yote hunting too.

I bought a good looking suit last year out of Max1. Man, I put it on feel invisible.....until I move. That suit looks good, but it's so noisey there's no way I could draw. I wear it when roaming and hunting turkeys now. Rest of the time it's in the box.
