    CC Problems

I've been carrying for a while now, but I've always carried my LCP, and no matter what, you can always conceal it, so I never had a problem.

I recently upgraded to a 9mm LC9, and I'm having a problem with printing. No matter which gun I carry (XD, Storm...you name it), you can -always- see the end of the grip printing through the shirt...you know, that angled look that everyone knows is a gun.

How do ya'll fix it? I own a lot of holsters, and each holster seems to have the same problem. Is it a holster issue, or am I the problem?

I own a crossbreed holster for my storm, but I have the same problem. Does anyone with a LC9 use a crossbreed? Is it successful?

I'm watching this one also. It's why I carry my Kahr P380 and not my Springfield XD subcompact.

I'd venture to say 95%+ of the population doesn't notice. And the rest think its a phone. I know that doesn't help though.

I got a taurus millenium 45ACP i carry in my back pants with a cheap holster that I bought at the gun show. the only time you can see mine is either when i bend over or squat down. Thats with just a pull over shirt on.

But no one should be able to see it when you bend over or squat down...that's what I'm trying to avoid.

same problem here. My solution is summertime=Bersa .380 and wintertime=XD.

The other person can't make it out to be a firearm. It can somewhat print as long as the other person can't tell what they are looking at.

A casual observers first thought will be cell phone most likely. Crossbreed clips are adjustable- set the clips so the holster sits as low as possible. Not much grip will be above your waistline. May be slightly harder to draw, but should clear up your concern.

Are you sure about that? I've been told if someone guesses it's a gun you're toast.

I was told by the instructor in my renewal class a couple weeks ago that the firearm has to be clearly seen.

Now if you can read the letters engraved on the slide because your shirt is tight, then yes that would be a big issue.

I have a dmbullard bodyguard holster that lays my gun down. Comfortable and doesn't print unless I'm bending over.

People don't notice. I think you are being paranoid because you know what it is. I carry a Glock 19 (full size .40) and it leaves a bump. People will not notice. Period (unless it is another CCer). In fact, my wife usually has to ask if I have it on and my kids have never noticed I have it on.

Next time you go out see if you notice anything on any particular person as you are walking around. You won't unless you are intentionally looking. If it makes you feel better, wear a little bit bigger shirt. Maybe try a small of back holster? If not, you can always go pocket pistol. I have a Taurus 738 TCP that is tiny. You can't detect that one at all. It holds 6 .380 acp. My Glock holds 15 .40 rounds. I like my chances better with the big one.

Just got to relax and be natural.

I think as long as your shirt doesn't ride up and they can see the color/type of gun your'e fine. I think you may be stopped and checked for a license at most if someone sees you printing. Bottom line is, most people don't have enough awareness to notice your'e concealing a pistol. They're more concerned with their phones or what they're in the place to do.

I have spotted several, I just give the person a nod and go on with my business. I have also been made before by a few people out and about as well. Usually the people that notice are the ones that think like you and are glad you are carrying. Unless your'e dressed like a gang banger I don't think anyone will be alarmed or notice.

                              This ^^^^

I have a G-23 in a Crossbreed and I have it low and canted a bit forward. I carry it in the 4 o'clock position.

Never been outed and I wear it all the time, even bike riding.
