My belief that there are any deer at my lease! 4 sits and have yet to see anything. Good news is with all the corn growing under my dads feeder do too it not being eaten we aught to be able to recoup some corn costs. I truly believe the only reason why mine is gone is because its covered in Buck Candy. Bad news is they are coming in at night only. Dang acorns need too go away!

It has been slow at my lease as well and we usually have a target rich environment. Just so much else to eat out there right now. It will get better as the season moves along.

I picked up my euro mount yesterday.
The Rhoads family said that the wildlife was not feeding on the corn, neither was there chickens. Which in previous years once or twice a week they would make there way to the wildlife feeders.

They questioned the corn.

I walked around tonight and we still have a bunch of acorns on the ground. Ill probably wait a couple of weeks before I go back. Hopefully they'll be gone or rotted.

The acorns are falling like crazy. Sounded like a danged pachinko game while sitting my tree stand this last weekend. I only saw one buck and a few doe in 3 days. Decided to take a hog with my bow and a racoon with my .38.

The critters love acorns and will turn their noses up at corn until the acorns are gone.

Had pigs come in Mon morning eating acorns and never even checked under feeder for corn.

we need a good freeze and more rain to ruin the dang acorns
