Awhile back I posted regarding my hero and father being diagnosed with lung cancer. Well he's had one surgery removing the mass from his left lung and 6 months later and many visits to UT Southwestern, he is cancer free. His next appointment is in December and knock on wood will remain so. I know it's a long row to hoe but we have been blessed by all your prayers and best wishes. I am truly thankful for everyone of you.

Congrats on the recovery! Both of my grandparents died of lung cancer. It is very sad at Christmas time and family holiday get togethers whenever its only my mom and her siblings on that side of the family.

That must be an unbelievable relief for him. One of my best friends is under going treatment for lung cancer right now. I think it's going to beat him though. It's already in his liver and there is a tumor on his spine. I'm just hoping they can at least give him a couple years.
