I've been seeing those little Go Pro type camera all over the place. I've seen them in Wallyworld under a different name. Can anyone offer some opinions on the different models? I'm thinking about putting one near my feeder.

The GoPro brand has the Hero. The newest is the Hero2. They are the best for the money. Full HD with a million accessories. Hero2 is way better in low light than the Hero. Your best bet is YouTube to see different videos shot with both. Just search GoPro. I have the Hero2. I use it on my boat, quad, and truck. Only problem I have found is there is no zoom! A 30yd shot looks like a mile.... Lol! There are waterproof cases that let you take them pretty much anywhere. For hunting they are good for different angles, but if it's gonna be your only camera you are better off with something else IMO.
Edit: They don't have a playback screen built in. You have to buy the attachment or wait to hook it to a computer. You can't pop the SD card in a camera either... You have to have a program on your computer! Just a heads up!Last edited by Ecoboost; 10-08-2012, 09:07 PM.Comment

None of the GoPro cameras have zoom. They are a POV (point of view) camera.Comment

I just got go pro hero 2 and love it. Took it to work (offshore 55miles) and let it down in the water off the platform... Amazing!!!!Comment
