    iTUNES and Iphone help/question

I need to back up my iphone 4. Its the 2nd iphone I have had so Im not foreign to the whole thing. But I want to make sure I save the pics and video of my little girl on there. I dont have a computer at home anymore, so I downloaded Itunes on my moms.

I hooked my phone up and synced it. It didnt take very long, and not nearly as long as it used to. I dont know if it is synced or not. I cant find anywhere where it says i have a backup.

I want to make sure I get all this lined out before I try to update it from ios 5. I have heard of people having to restore their phone before getting the new update to work.

I guess I could also transfer the pics straight to the computer too right? And could I put them on my ps3 like that?

Should be able to right click on the phone name while in iTunes, should bring up a drop down menu where you should see "backup iPhone"

O ok. I will try that. So it will show if it has a valid backup?

Should have a couple of options in there, like "restore from backup" and "create backup" or something along those lines.....if ya need further help ill fire my laptop up and type it up as I go
I know there is a place where you can check to see how many times/versions of backups you have on there

Email em to yourself Or upload to photobucket Flickr ect. I had all of my daughters first season pics on a camera which some pos stole out of my truck. I'd have traded everything in the truck for that memory card....

Plug the phone into the computer if iTunes comes on turn it off. Then copy all the pics and videos to the computer. That's one option

I upgraded all of our iPhones to iOS6...3 of them. Nothing was lost during the upgrade. All picks, vids, music and texts were still in tact.

              Cheers!
