Backstrap: It's what's for dinner.

We always empty our freezer of venison by summertime. Fortunately my mom and dad don't. Hijacked some blackstrap and got it seasoned just right!


Got a little flour concoction with eggwash to dress her up.

A few ears to go with it:

I'll add some mashed potatoes and some peppered gravy to top it off. About an hour away from go-time, so I'll update with the finished product.

Always room around the Joslin table for some friends. We typically cook for an army even though we both try to eat less than we ever have, two kids are off to college, and the twins eat like birds half the time.
