Food plot update***pic heavy***

So I helped my buddy set up his food plot near Atoka, Oklahoma three weeks ago. He's up there right now and sent me pics of the food plot's growth. We used a tiller and rake and made about a 1/4 acre spot to try out the Throw N Grow. He says it's only up a few inches but just the fact that it took off is encouraging. Here's a few pics.

To say the least, we're pretty happy. I'll be hunting here a few times this season and this is some of the TC activity:

If you were planting three weeks ago you hit it just about right with last weekend's rain! Like the set up with the ground blind.

Yeah as we left its sprinkled there all night. Then of course they got the same rain we got last week.

This is the tree setup view. The ground blind is now set up straight away from this view (it wasn't there at the time we took this pic). The wind wasn't right for him in the tree so he put the blind up this evening.

Please delete these pics. Don't want people knowing about big deer in Oklahoma they are all in Kansas and Illinois LOL. I hunt down around Atoka as well some good deer if you get away from the poachers.

Hahahaha. I never knew there were mountains in Oklahoma until 3 weeks ago, its really pretty up there. And there are big deer EVERYWHERE.
