Can you re-sharpen and reuse them or is it pretty much use a new one every time? This is my first year to use them.

In my opinion it's one and done. I'm sure every once in a while you get one that can be reused. But for the most part one and done

Ive re used several heads by just sharpening the blades. If the blades are rolled or banged up replace them. Ive used one head on 3 hogs.

Just use the rebuild kit. New blades(all 3) and new screws, good to go!

You can resharpen them but you need to make sure the blades still open correctly.
